It's Giving Tuesday!
Every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
There are so many different ways to express generosity on GivingTuesday and every day! It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
Donate to any of your local non-profits and help them continue their mission.
Not sure how to help?
- Give Blood
- There's no substitute for human blood. The decision to donate your blood can save a life or even several!
- Donate to A Non-Profit or Community Organization
- Donate to a nonprofit that's doing work that aligns with your values. Don't forget that small community-led organizations need your support too!
- Pay it Forward
- You can do this by paying for the person in front of you's order, leaving an online review for your favorite business, etc...
- Distribute essentials to those experiencing homelessness
- Start with non-perishable snacks and bottled water, add bandages, lip balm, and travel-sized sunscreen., Include socks, menstrual supplies, hand sanitizer or wipes, and don't forget gloves and hand warmers for cold weather!
- Give Voice
- Post about a cause you're passionate about on social media, text 10 friends and family members to tell them about GivingTuesday, etc...
- Give Kindness
- Participate in random acts of kindness throughout the day
- Help Animals
- Donate to your local shelters and rescues, consider adoption or fostering from them, and drop off some toys at your local shelter (they'll instantly be a hit!)
- Give Thanks
- Leave a note for someone you are thankful for in your life, send a thank you note to a healthcare worker, teacher, or mentor or even leave a basket of goodies for your postal and delivery workers.
