Nostradamus predicted a zombie apocalypse in 2021, CDC releases tips

Nostradamus was a prophet who authored a book called, "Les Propheties" in the 16th century. Many of the prophecies he added into his book have come true, in one form or another, according to followers of his thoughts throughout the decades.

What did the prophet predict for 2021? Oh, just a zombie apocalypse. According to "Les Propheties":

“Few young people: half−dead to give a start. Dead through spite, he will cause the others to shine, And in an exalted place some great evils to occur: Sad concepts will come to harm each one, Temporal dignified, the Mass to succeed. Fathers and mothers dead of infinite sorrows, Women in mourning, the pestilent she−monster: The Great One to be no more, all the world to end.”

Now, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) wants to help calm citizens through their Zombies Preparedness section on their website, actually created in 2011 - ten whole years before this supposed "Zombie Apocalypse" is slated to happen:

"There are all kinds of emergencies out there that we can prepare for. Take a zombie apocalypse for example. That’s right, I said z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e. You may laugh now, but when it happens you’ll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency."

While it did start off as a tounge-in-cheek campaign, the CDC has stated that it's been effective. Check out the section here.
