HuskyTHON's Day of Strength on Wednesday, March 10

The annual HuskyTHON's Day of Strength is happening on Wednesday, March 10th!

UConn students are working hard to raise a goal of $200,000 within 24-hours in support of awareness and patient care at Connecticut Children's, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Help support the cause!

HuskyTHON is the largest student-run philanthropy in Connecticut, established in 2000. It is entirely student-run with its' management team of 30 undergraduate students working tirelessly to make each year's fundraising better every year. In 2020, the organization has raised over $1.5 million dollars, thanks to generous donations by the community, to benefit the work and patients at Connecticut Children's.

Through the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a reminder about how much we need to come together as a community and take care of one another. To support, text "UCONN" to 51555 or visit HuskyTHON.org to ensure every child in Connecticut gets the best health care possible.

The culminating event of HuskyTHON is happening on Saturday, March 20th and Sunday, March 21st with a fun 18-hour dance marathon after the a year-long fundraising drive. Thousands of UConn students come together to dance for those who can't. In 2021, this event will be virtual through a live stream. One Husky, who happens to be UConn President Tom Katz, has already started practicing the HuskyTHON's famous Morale Dance! See the dance here and duet with him on TikTok.
