Moe and Curly are three-year-old Abyssinian guinea pigs, which means they have excellent fur! They will do well in a home where they can be together, as they are a bonded pair. Moe and Curly will also be an excellent match for children who are gentle and respectful of pets and would be happy to live in a home with another male guinea pig.
These two cuties love to eat and they will need plenty of veggies to get their daily vitamin C. Moe and Curly will do well in a home where they have plenty of space, and lots of small toys to nibble on. Guinea pigs are relatively easy to care for, docile and are responsive to kind and gentle handling. When handled correctly, they enjoy being picked up and carried. They are curious critters and enjoy exploring, especially when on familiar territory.
They can also be trained to respond to tricks and, when bonded to their owner, may respond eagerly to the sound of his/her voice! Guinea pigs are social animals who prefer to live in small groups. Since guinea pigs multiply rapidly, keeping males and females together is not recommended. On average, they weigh 2 pounds and can live 6-8 years with proper care.
