Meet the CT Humane Society's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Groot

Meet Groot!

Groot arrived at CHS at the end of January from another rescue. He is an adorable four-month-old male with white and black fur.

He is a mixed breed and will weigh approximately forty-four pounds when he is fully grown. While he is charming, he is shy and will do well with a family that is patient and calm with him.

He will be a great addition to a home with another dog that is social and confident and can teach Groot all about being a dog. This dog would help Groot come out of his shell. A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Groot has so much love to give and plenty to learn, he will need to continue his obedience training.

He will do well in a home with children over the age of twelve who are gentle and respectful of pets.

If you're in love with Groot, he is available in Newington.
