Megan Altomare, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Milford, joins us live from the Travelers Championship. She shares how the organization provides a safe, welcoming space for all school-aged children, whether they live in Milford or a nearby community. The club is open whenever school is out, offering a place for kids to receive support, build friendships, and take part in over 90 enrichment programs. These include STEM, healthy eating, arts, sports, and even programs focused on technology and coding.
Megan also spoke about the impact the club has on the children and families it serves. For some, it is a reliable after school option while parents are at work. For others, it is a source of stability, structure, and encouragement. Megan encouraged the community to support the club through the Birdies for Charity program. She also invited everyone to their upcoming Walnut Beach Ice Cream Run, a 5K walk or run along the coastline that ends with a free ice cream from Walnut Beach Creamery.
